Valeur patrimoniale

The Cranbrook City Hall is recognized for its historic value as the first purpose-built City Hall building in Cranbrook, B.C. The historic site has aesthetic value for the style of the building which represented Cranbrook's forward thinking planning for the Municipal Government and its faith in future growth. The City Hall was built by local contractors George Leask and Vince Liddicoat, with some 125,000 locally-fired bricks, at cost of approximately $15,000.
